The Guys warmed up quickly on that warm summer evening, playing some of the older tunes from "The Captain and Me" that they don't always play. Pat, T.J., and John went off on their guitar work, with the rest filling in well as usual. You can tell they have been working on more background harmonies during all songs. They came back out for an encore, which made me feel fortunate that they still enjoy playing as much as I enjoy hearing them live. No pre-band, just a great show. The only issue I had was why the "plastic shields" over the fronts of both drummers - not a really big deal, but was it a sound thing or something else?
